Principal's Message

Sister Lisa 2
Dear Prospective Students and Families,
Welcome to our St. James School Community! Through our website we hope you will get a glimpse of who we are and what we do as a community. I would like to invite you to come and visit St. James personally, and experience the heart of our mission, which is a Catholic education to prepare students for a life of learning and service to God. We belong to a parish blessed with a tremendous sense of faith and family.
Our Christ-centered community, established in 1956 by the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, maintains our founding values of a rigorous academic program, fun extra-curricular activities and solid Catholic beliefs with a vision always to improve and update our programs.
The dedicated faculty and staff at our school help cultivate a family atmosphere where students thrive in all aspects of the learning environment: intellectually, physically and spiritually. Technology is strongly present in many lessons and classroom activities, with a state-of-the-art Mac Lab and iPad Carts, we are on the cutting edge. Students are enriched through art and music, library and computer, PE and Spanish. Daily Religion classes and enrichment experiences strengthen students’ relationship with God.
The success of our graduates attest to the committed faculty and staff who work diligently to create an atmosphere of compassionate and challenging learning.
Strong family involvement in our St. James School community enriches our mission: Family Night, Mother/Son and Father/Daughter Dances, Fall Festival, Family Bingo, Living Rosary and Living Stations.
Set-up a tour today or stop by to see our students at St. James Catholic School charging forward!
God’s love be with you,
Sister Lisa, IHM
